Token's Pet (one of many)!

One of Token's many pets came for a visit today; "wet rat" squirrel. Aptly named as it usually comes to the window when it is raining and is doused and ragged looking, like a wet rat. Token's tail is going nuts...he even chirps at them (his pets)!

Mayhem Festival 2009

Last night was the 2009 Mayhem Festival at DTE. Fantastic show. 3 Stages of loud metal! Hot Topic Stage is where I spent most of my time in the afternoon, seeing Whitechapel, Black Dahlia Murder, Job For A Cowboy, Behemoth and Cannibal Corpse. Nicholas bounced back and forth between those bands and the ones at the Jägermeister Stage; I joined him for God Forbid and Trivium. Main Stage had Mushroomhead (only saw their last 2 songs as the walk from the Hot Topic Stage/food/drink took up all the time), Killswitch Engage, Slayer and Marilyn Manson. As always, Slayer had their Marshall stacks to 11 and kicked everyone's ass. All in all, a great day of metal. Horns in the air!

All I had with me was my camera phone, so there aren't many good photos. Took around 20 and only 7 you could see anything. So here are a few shots of Behemoth and Slayer. Click here to see them!
