I Think I Need A Stiffer Shaft

Andy and I went golfing yesterday and as always had a blast. Weather held off so no rain, but the wind was chilly from time to time. Anyway, coming back in at Salt River, the par 5 16, Andy wanted to take a few shots and captured the image to the left. Neither one of us had seen a shaft bend so much.

Easter Sunday At The Zoo!

Sarah and I spent the afternoon at the zoo on Easter Sunday and had a great time. The sun was out, the animals were active and the crowds weren't well, crowded. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted, where we wanted, and didn't have to worry about taking anyone's view. The polar bears were very active and we had a treat in the chimpanzee exhibit...the baby was out and about!

Sun Burnt!

Opening Day, as always, was a blast. My forehead and cheeks got sun burnt though, but that is okay. Tiger's offense kicked ass; they didn't need to worry about their pitching yesterday. That won't always be the case, but I'll take it for now.

As posted yesterday, I didn't take my camera but my friend Chrissy did. No ETA of when I'll get them from her, so no idea when I'll get them posted here. Hopefully a few shots came out.

Opening Day

Yes, that's right, Tiger's home opener is tomorrow. Looks like the rain might just hold off until after the game now...with mostly sunny skies for the game. Awesome!

Not taking my camera this year, but will try to get some with my phone. Won't be the greatest, but not interested in lugging my camera around all day.

Go Green!

Go White! It is finally Final Four weekend and there were a couple of free events on Friday, April 3rd. First up, was free practice for all 4 teams starting at Noon. I simply wanted to get photos of Ford Field, inside and out, so got in there quick and left.

Of course, instead of standing in line waiting for the doors to open, had a few beers at The Elwood at 10am (practice for Opening Day next Friday!)

Second event was the pep rally for MSU at Somerset Mall in Troy. The place was packed...what a CF! I met Mike and his family up there or well tried too; didn't finally meet up until after it was over at dinner. Oh well. Couldn't get very close for photos, so got what I could.

It wouldn't have been so bad, the crowds I mean, if it weren't for the a-hole parents and their strollers! And the a-hole parents and their strollers running over the back of people's feet. And the a-hole parents and their strollers not paying attention and stopping in the middle of what would have been walkways. Again, what a CF!

Das Boot!

Hahaha. As I was leaving the Final Four free practice day, found an idiot that already had a boot on his truck. I don't understand how/why people have such a hard time parking downtown. It isn't that hard people!
