2009 World Baseball Classic

Vacation time is fast approaching. That means it is baseball time! The 2009 World Baseball Classic kicks off in Japan with Pool A on Thursday at 6:30pm (4:30am ET). Robin and I will be in Toronto for Pool C featuring Canada, USA, Italy and Venezuela. You can find the full game and TV schedule here.


Several Detroit Tigers are on a few of the teams including those in Pool C. There will be prime chances for photos and autographs from Granderson, Galarraga, Ordonez, Guillen and Cabrera. I'll post photos when I get back along with some from the Dropkick Murphys concert tonight.

It's March. It's St. Patrick's time. It's Dropkick Murphys! Their annual St. Patrick's tour has kicked off and the Detroit date is tonight at the State Theater with guests H2O and Civet.
