Low And Slow

Didn't go all out this week and even included 5 or 6 beers during a golf outing on the 11th.

Lost 1.6lbs this week. I'll take that for not putting in a 100% effort while splurging on some beer.

And oh yeah, damn Tigers. WTF? Just proves that what is written on paper doesn't equate to real life.

Broke 350!

Today's weigh-in: 344.4 lbs. I've lost 14.8lbs in 28 days.

My goal is 15lbs a month so I'm right on schedule.

I feel good!

Good Week So Far

Took yesterday's workout off. I knew it was going to be a long day, and it was. So I took the chance to sleep in yesterday. That night, I did my normal Thursday night trivia/wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. They changed up the type of trivia now and moved the day/time of the good games so that may have been the last Thursday for that tradition. Oh well, things change. Didn't do my walk; was just too tired from being on my feet all day running around campus...lots of remodeling going on this summer which means lots of adds/moves on the network side of things.

This morning I did some crunches; not full sit-ups 'cause well, my gut is still too big. Anyway, did 20 of them nice and slow; holding them for a few seconds. I will start adding that into the full mix on Saturday.

Here is to a good weigh-in tomorrow afternoon!

Changing Things Up A Little

I wasn't able to get out every day and do 4 Miles last week. More than anything, a lack of motivation. So starting today, I will do 2 Miles in the morning and 2 Miles in the evening. The shorter walks are much easier, motivation wise, then the longer ones. I'm also able to keep a quicker pace for 2 Miles and that should help with the fat burn. I noticed toward the end of the 4 Mile walks that I was moving pretty slow; just going the distance for distance sake.

Any way, that is the new plan. On the weekends, like today, I'll do my morning walk around 8am. During the work week, obviously, I'll go before work. So tomorrow; 5:15am here I come!
